Camfridge signs FRISBEE consortium agreement for multi-million pan-European FP7 project.

The FRISBEE project is a pan-European FP7 project with a multi-million Euro budget. Camfridge is proud to be part of this consortium, and looks forward to working productively with its new partners.

Camfridge announces energy efficienct magnetic refrigerator project with Whirpool, the world's largest white goods manufacturer.

In a project funded jointly by the Carbon Trust, Whirpool and Camfridge, the purpose is to deliver high-efficiency and environmentally friendly appliances for the London Olympic Games in 2012. "This is great opportunity for us to work with the world's leading refrigeration and appliance company." said Neil Wilson, CEO of Camfridge. European Union opens negotiatons with Camfridge and partners for 8 million Euro project.

Camfridge and a number of partners in the food industry have started negotiations with the European Union on a project to examine refrigeration in the food chain and to evaluate how new technologies can have a positive environmental and health impact on food. "The proposal scored 14 out of 15, even higher than last time; Graciela did a fantastic job putting it all together!" ,exclaimed Alessandro Pastore, Camfridge's director of business development.




Camfridge moves to larger premises providing enhanced office, workshop and laboratory facilities.

Camfridge has moved to Copley Hill Business Park, just south of Cambridge, increasing its office, laboratory and office space ten-fold, whilst keeping costs low. " These new facilities will allow Camfridge to grow rapidly " ,commented Paul Burdett, Camfridge's senior engineer.

Camfridge wins an East of England Develpoment Agency's Innovation Voucher.

Alexander Barcza, a research student at the University of Cambridge and sponsored by Camfridge, has won the East of England 'best research poster' competition for his work on magnetic refrigeration.

"Alex is a talented student and his and research has been outstanding", commented Dr. Alessandro Pastore of Camfridge, "he is a very committed researcher and consequently the results he has achieved are excellent.". Alex is in the final year of his PhD, under the supervision of Dr. Karl Sandeman, in the Department of Material Science at the University of Cambridge.

Camfridge in collaboration with a key customer gains further support from the Carbon Trust in the form of an R&D grant that will help take the Company's innovative new products to market.

Camfridge, and a key multi-national customer, have jointly obtained a large R&D grant from the Carbon Trust. The focus of this work will allow Camfridge to begin embedding its technical solutions into customer appliances. "This grant is a massive endorsement of both the technical and commercial goals of the Company by the Carbon Trust. This is the second time the Carbon Trust have funded us and clearly that's because we're very focused and are able to deliver both commerically viable and environmentally friendly products that will help the UK meet its Kyoto obligations.", commented Neil Wilson, Camfridge CEO.

Camfridge commences major new R&D innitiative with key customers and suppliers under the European Union FP7 R&D programme.

Camfridge, in partnership with the University of Cambridge, and a number of customers, suppliers and academic partners, have formally commenced a new multi-million Euro project funded by the European Union that will see Camfridge technology being embedded into heat pump and air conditioning appliances. Dr. Karl Sandeman, the co-ordinator of the project, enthused "this is a fantastic vote of support from the European Union that will help us rapidly advance environmental technologies and enable Europe to meet its Kyoto targets".
